well, fasttracker and impulse tracker are on pouet too (and screamtracker) so why not all trackers then? I installed renoise.. it made me happier than working with skale.. sorry skale.. i still like you though..

it helped me out in win2k times until milkytracker came. but still buggy and insufficient.

quite nice but sometimes the buggyness makes my eyes bleed :)

The mixer is the coolest thing! Never saw such nice mixer (with EQ, sends, panning on effects and subgroups) in trackers before.

I like fasttracker II, but this is a bit too much.

Never used it really, but this it's a nice prod.

Anyway it's OK

was it created by scene people?

Awesome (well, Awezoom nowadays) is apparently one of the creators and i remember he was in some groups, maybe razor 1911 (?)

Hailed as a quasi-FT3 back in the day, development was slow and finally stopped. I guess renoise ate its lunch.

But apparently, they have a new online version going.

Yes, of course. The graphics by Awesome/Wild Bits (now Awezoom) and the code by Baktery/Chanka.

They did a fantastic work. A pity that never got finished.

What dipswitch said but with piggie. I remember losing my nerves with something regarding volume controls.

This was a great software at that time. I made few tunes with this one. I thought the sample quality was just great, as it was not limited..

Probably would be a good idea to opensource this at this point.

bad luck for Skale that Renoise came along. still, a great step between FT2 and RNS and I found it cozy (never used it extensively though, only tried).

I like this and used many times. Will there be a way of getting a version on android please.

Looks like the new version of FT2. Probably it's FT3! I love the newer versions!

agreed with gargaj about open sourcing

feel I have to give this tracker some cred.
sure it was ugly, buggy, slow, never finished and crashed a lot. But I still used it extensively during several years both as a normal tracker and as a midi sequencer for various stuff where FT2 wasn't an option and a normal DAW was overkill. For someone with a very close relationship with FT2, it had the edge over Renoise in a lot of use cases. Too bad development stopped.
