As a bonus you get an unreleased demo by Kjell. Enjoy!

with nightlord on the team the magazine has gotten even better. having three people review and comment the releases decreases the risk of getting monotone and boring. no nonsense, just the facts and deep insights. this roxxorz

okay, now it's 5 in the morning, i have to wake up in 5 hours, but i read it from start till end. to summarize it: simply great! it's impressive that the c64 scene can pull off something like that, with that few number of releases. in the pc scene we desperately would need a project like that! a periodical issue giving deep and professional insight on the latest productions, technical and somewhat dry but not without a certain humour. in fact i laughed out loud several times while reading this issue, caught by the subtle essayistic approach of the editors.

this whole thing seems so damn mature and worked out, and i'm really sad we are not able and/or willing to do something similar on pc and amiga scenes (anymore). amiga publications are mostly filled with bad spelled articles about how pc sucks and good old times (yes yes i know, jurassic pack is very good, but exceptions only prove the regular state), while the pc demo criticism culture is limited to one-line pouet comments and pain, the nowadays only really ambitious effort in that direction, has just a too long periodical span due to our busyness, so we can't be on date to the releases as i would like it to be and as NSR is.

simply marvellous! this is one of the best examples of essayistic writing concerning the demoscene, and everyone who has the ambitions to write for diskmags, or even is doing it since years, is simply oblidged to read this and learn.

oh, and on a personal request, please include this one in the next issue's "forgotten releases" chapter. yes i know, it's 2 years old, but i feel it simply doesnt got enough recognition and i also would like to see how "real" c64 sceners see this quite unusual release.

oh and please don't use "#" in the filename next time, mozilla has problems with that apparently.

dip: Wouldn't it be better if you filed a bug report at bugzilla for that? Obviously everyone can't change due to a bug in a program.

thanks to madenmann the link hopefully works better now, and puterman needs to do some revision on linking to csdb's internal files =)

Accepting the danger to repeat my reaction to #1, I did really enjoy the reading the magazine with one setback: the readability of the charset. Anyway, a good production in my opinion.

dips: in pc scene we call them blogs and they die of interest due to lack of updates within months :) c64 scene just rules harder and thats that :)
