Crappy intro. Atari Dream Machines also published a German diskmag with an ugly shell, where I started my Atari writing career. Ah, I feel some nostalgic feelings coming up...:)

I remember Mr Pink did a beautiful demolition job in Maggie 20! Not one of the greatest days for the Falcon '030..

I think his reaction was along the lines of "Slower than the zoom function on an indifferently coded art package."

Haha Thx for the comments. I am the coder of this demo and I can’t believe that one could download this prog in the year 2011. Absolutely sick! I completely forgot it…

I coded this demo in 12 hours at the Symposium 96 without knowing how texture mapping (the big thing in those days) actually works. At that time and in that age I was really proud of this code and to be honest … I am still proud. ;)

Thx to pouet.net

Funny... that party i recall Tinosoft pointing to the monitor of some Lazer coder, yelling out loud "THIS is how it´s done"... now i know EXACTLY what he meant :D

Wow what a story ;)

So you know Tino? Do you have contact? Last time we have talked/mailed was in 98 I guess. Would be interesting to see what he is doing in these days.

Btw I am fascinated that people are still interested in this old demo stuff.

well, as for me, i am fascinated by the fact that i still recall that moment... :D

yeah we met here and there, since we both lived in bremen that time. but totally lost track when he moved to... i guess it was hamburg...

for the old stuff matter: especially old atari stuff has it´s very special charm, at least methinks. so, of course, i´m still interested in that :)
