A little bit too much focused on the German scene, some more pictures of international sceners would have finished this report.
For example, there actually was a dutch scene in those days and it was present at Wired but the only reference to the dutch scene which I could find was a picture of the dutch translation of the German PC Underground book ;-)

Oh hell, this one's horrible. One reason for that, however, might have been that we were not too happy about the party back then.
You know, in the late 90s some people (at least we, if not some more) disliked "utterly serious" Imphobia/French/etc... parties a lot. Retrospectively, Wired 97 was for me as much fun as sitting in a rusted-shut coffin at the bottom of the sea. *g*
Maybe that's why only true party people are included in the report - most of which were Germans, back then. ;)
