This info is wrong. It was released December 1992 at the Party. It was #6 at the demo compo.
One of the very best ECS demos ever made.
There's lots of nice code, graphics and music in this one, but for some reason I've never enjoyed it as much as the other prods from Dr.Skull...
The code is absolutely marvellous is this demo.
not to mention the music, which is one of groo's best tunes.
... how could I forget this one? I second everything above. This one was my favourite for months.
I think all has been said.
this of course rules big time. got to love it.
OMG it FINALLY runs all the way through in WinUAE (0.8.25) without crashing! Well, a few sound/fill bugs along the way.. but damn, I didn't realize how long it was. Granted, about every effect in the last few minutes had been done before.. but the beginning stuff is all original and cool, and Groo's music (the cheezy demostuff, before he went rock :) was enjoyable even twice. A fine representation of the peak of the A500 era.
Interesting to note that this demo was originally meant to be finished for Assembly '92 - both of Groo's tunes were already done by then.
I'd enjoyed this piece a lot.
classic.
classic.
video anyone?
i really liked this one. it was one of my favorite ECS demos..
awesome
awesome
Rulez
Indeed.
Great classic.
That music! Best of Groo, by far, imho.
yep
I've been looking for this demo for 14 years! It really is the best demo I ever saw in my A500+ days. Cannot be beaten!
didnt like it at all. . .
Has anyone got a video of it?? I'd love to see it again!!
:D Clean Classic :D
Some quiite cool efects
Wow, kickass!
Cool demo. Even the shadebobs in the end part look good!
Indeed, one of the top 5 Amiga demos I can remember!
Deserves another thumb. :D
lot's of good effects in here and they just keep comming. this one I watch quite often on my 500. many effects, kickass sound and all on 2 disks, THIS is a demo!! :)
great demo
looks that i've been missing some classic :> what a trip.
It crashed, but I liked what I saw so far.
Really nice and I truly love the music
*Really nice effects
I really liked this demo, for me I remember that demo to be close to Desert Dream in my mind, if only the music score at the beginning would have sound like movie-type like in the intro of desert dream... I think then both demo would be very close. I miss that demo on Mind Candy vol.2... snif.. snif!
Yep this is a classic.. damn I wish it was 1992 again :)
!
runs perfectly in the new winuae 2.2, from start to end, no more artifacts! <3
Some nice effects but overall quite horror..
This one kick some severe asses :)
I'd never seen it past the beautiful glass flt logo before. so much content.
ahhh.... long and beautiful.
Rules!
One of their best!
Glenzvector to dragonball to chessball ftw! The effect in the 3rd screen in the screenshot is lovely and powerful
One of the best demos with great effects.
rocks!
Whoa, awesome stuff!
Kickass routines!
Outch! Elite!
Nice demo.
I think this was meant to be released at the Analogy Hitech Party 1992, but some douchebag damaged the partyplace and the prize money was reduced.

Yeah ok
Cool stuff, back in the days...
sloooow intro, but then it gets awesome :)
Thanks to youtube that I found this pearl! Strange enough I missed this one in the past when it came out and didn't know it.
Stunning effects, great music and graphics. Not to mention the coder's good work.

great
Wow, quite a coding here! I really enjoyed the zoomer, chessball or flatshade stuff. Some nice transitions, but flow/pacing is terrible all over... Demo features exceptional music (endpart tune is one of my favourite modules of alltime), but the music doesn't fit at all IMO.
Dr. Skull says in endscroller that one can buy the sources for $250 :-) Are they by any chance available online now?

OMG! Never saw this back in the days. Lots of effects and really great transitions.
Great!!!
Amazing, just watched it for the first time today.
Well crafted.
Holy mackerel, what a vectorshow.
