HAHAHA i bet it is opengl and you draw rects with GL_LINE_LOOP or in line rendering mode instead of filling, cause it doesnt render upper right corner dot :D
ok, i know this was an easy conclusion so what.

What the fuck, bitching because of openGL rendering in a fucking tool, someone get me a fucking bazooka, I have some lamers to fucking shred this morning. shut it bitch, Grandma's cranky. And thank GOD someone remembers to include a fucking REPLAY with the tool so it can be USED.
was that actually bitching? to me it looks more like he's trying to show off

I applaud the concept, but the player itself sounds a bit shitty, with plenty of clicking and whatnot (although I only checked out the wizardry example tune). Still, these things can be improved in future versions.

So, yes, I am thumbing up a TRSI-PC release.

There's no clicking here (no one reported me any kind of clicking before), are you sure about this ? It requires a strong processor (preferably an AMD one ;)).
Yeah, the demo song is crappy and doesn't reflect the capabilities of the synth at all but i couldn't be bothered to do just *everything*.
added on the 2004-10-05 13:03:37 by hitchhikr hitchhikr
The clicking occurs at note-ons, so I guess it's due to the attack's volume ramping being too quick? Or perhaps the sine oscillator doesn't start at zero period?

even in the editor or just in the replay ?
added on the 2004-10-05 13:16:10 by hitchhikr hitchhikr
During replay, haven't even used the editor :)
added on the 2004-10-05 13:16:48 by sagacity sagacity
i'll check that, thanks.

Updated. The only bug i could find is that the triangle wave was inverted with the random noise generation in the replay so this is fixed.

Note that i haven't used a separate thread for the playback so that may be the cause of the click (especially if you move the window but except from this i still don't hear any click here:D).
Thanks again, anyway.

Cool! If anyone gets some good drum noises out of it I'd be interested to hear them (I tried and failed).

i have click-clacks in the editor.
Adding a thread for audio rendering in editor and replay routine, tell me if it's still suffering of click'o'mania.
added on the 2004-10-05 15:18:31 by hitchhikr hitchhikr
yes, no click-clacking lobster effect now, on the other hand the it's so slow that i can't stop the replay.
ah yeh, and total windows desktop fuck up on exit. (windowed mode click on the [X])
Updated again in the hope that it will work on your computer (it works perfectly on mine), may i ask you what is your computer's configuration ? (processor/os etc.)

Very sluggish on my secondary machine. button presses take well over a second to actually do stuff. not very happy with the interface either.

Next version maybe?

Thumb up for releasing the replay routines :)

UI could take some getting used to, but thanks for releasing it. Wish it wasn't dsound though.

I guess it's useless to ask for more details ? (like config etc.)

at 1st glance i like very much. got some minor clicking issues here too, but i'd blame my lame 1,4gHz celeron with various apps running in background. gotta go back to tweaking some sounds..
rulez added on the 2004-10-06 15:58:47 by madMixx madMixx
i have a 1 ghz celeron with apps running in the background and have no clicking problems.
i already made a little tune and gotta check the effects. this program is cool, although the gui is always a few frames late and i miss marking blocks.
rulez added on the 2004-10-06 16:47:21 by Lambchop Lambchop
Blocks marking/cut/copy/paste is planned (there's already a ctrl+x/c/v handling for complete sequences).
I've no latency or clicks problems here at 1.8ghz.
The app is probably faster in fullscreen mode.

Great tool! Any place somewhere to get more .TSM files to listen with? (And no Delta, Axel Folley or Popcorn remix please, Wizardry is already enough :)
No sound glitch/click on my laptop (XP/SP2) as long as I set the CPU speed to the max (1.7GHz or something).
