i feel sad for you. i wish nobody ever pointed you demopaja you sad fuck, bloody wanker. go suck your mommy. we all
know you made this.
know you made this.
Demopaaja misused once again...
I am a sha(n)ed for this pathetic release by some1 who is sucking his mommy!
Here's the thing guys. You have no idea if this demo is a bluff or a double bluff.
Is it a parody? Is it a serious production? Can you trust the Fearmoths?
If you say it's nonsense, then does that mean you don't get it?
If you say it's profound, are you just being pretentious?
The truth is, most of you guys don't have a clue!

trolling brings no talent
Rubbish! Hi Shane!
awesome! haven't even seen it but thumbing this up cause its probably better then everything else.
cool :)
yes, art!
lol
Woah. Shane and I agree on something, news at 11.
A bit too white for my taste, but scary and weird as all the other Fearmoths demos.
fucking scary.
not my cup of tea. sometimes i felt like seeing little patterns and people moving on the screen but then i realiced it was just a chair and the snow effect :). i really dont get the message behind this prod.
To clarify the message a little, the demo is intended to reflect the viewer's life back at him and is Jeremy's (Ultimate Gas) dig at computer nerds, couch potatoes and alike.
The chair symbolises laziness, draining people's lives. Everything in the demo is symbolic of something, but I don't want to give it all away.
Personally, I'm not a fan of symbolism. I think if you have something important to say, just come out and say it!

Pure art
Wonderfully oppressing.
beside the fact that it actually had a pretty tense atmosphere:
1. it is better than the assembly winning 2004 demo.
2. it is better than the assembly 2004 disqualification martyr.
3. it made me feel better about things than the assembly 2004 intro compo.
In short, this is not as bad as Fearmoths can get. Heck, they'd probably have bumped us from the winning slot at MFX/Kewlers ;)

Just a warning to all: I'd be careful of any fearmoths productions, or anything from Shane. He has in the past released trojans disguised as intros that tried to delete your boot partition... Seems he hasn't felt the need to do it in his Windows "demos", but i'd make a backup of all your stuff before running anything from this dubious source.
Here is the Virus Help Team Denmark warning for his faked trojan:

yeah yeah everyone knows about that and as I've said before, I never made the virus. I was being bombarded with emails from "sceners" sending them to me disguised as new prods and I spread one of them in retaliation.
I regret that innocent people fell victim to it, but I should never have been sent the virus in the first place. I merely decided to share someone else's "new production".
I'll never do that again, but the big difference in the PC scene is that people aren't so fanatical about "scene rules" that they try to wipe out your computer if you break a few.

Oh yes, there were two viruses spread. One under Darkage (Blum) and one under DCS. I only spread one of them!

Thats just bullshit, shane.
Thats just bullshit, shane.
Firstly, the reason you haven't been treated as harshly by the PC scene as you were by the Amiga scene might just have something to do with the fact that you havent yet taken a well known and respected PC demogroup, and falsely claimed to be a member of them while releasing a series of really dire "demos" in their name. I think you'll find a cold reception from ANY scene where you pull that sort of shit.
Secondly, even if you DIDN'T code the Blum trojan (which I doubt), you're casting aspersions about the whole of the Amiga scene, based on the actions of one idiot.
Granted, there is no way that you could have programmed the trojan released under the DCS name, because it is clearly beyond your abilities. Whoever made that trojan I hold in equal contempt as I do you, along with any other trojan author.

Coding is beyond my abilities period, so what makes anyone think I could have coded the blum trojan?
Besides, me claiming to be a member of a well known group STILL does not warrant people sending me viruses. I was just trying to stir some reactions and some life into a dying scene.
Let's face it, I'm always going to be hated by some people, but there are people who do admire the fact that we offer something DIFFERENT, UNIQUE and FUN in our demos and style, which some would say the scene is lacking.
And it sure as hell is more fun than sitting on your ass all day moaning about how the scene SHOULD be. Anyone can use demomakers and come up with new and imaginative ideas, but too many people are SCARED of what the chief sceners will say.

Because it was a bunch of lame DOS scripts, it didn't require any coding.
"Besides, me claiming to be a member of a well known group STILL does not warrant people sending me viruses."
No. I've never defended anyone sending anyone else a virus. Ever. There is also no excuse for knowingly distributing a trojan... even if you feel persecuted by "the scene".
"I was just trying to stir some reactions and some life into a dying scene."
Well, you certainly got reactions. Did you really think people would warm to you spreading what were essentially quite poor animations under the label of a well known scene group?
Whatever... anyway, I still think its valid to advise caution to people when downloading anything you've made.

Anyway, no lift me ups for this product :(
craaaaap
"There is also no excuse for knowingly distributing a trojan... even if you feel persecuted by "the scene"."
Actually I didn't KNOW it was a trojan because I didn't run it. I was told it was a new production.
Anyway, it's in the past and it was a mistake I won't repeat. Hell, if I tried anything like that in these times I'd have government agents kicking down my door.
As for the TRSI stuff, all I can say is I got a lot of laughs out of people's (deadly serious) reactions so it was worth it just for my own entertainment.
Anyway, everyone is entitled to their opinion and I quite enjoy being a scene villain.

No really, we all adore boring 3d flyby's with motionblur galore and crappy trance music.
Scares the hell out of me. Brilliant.
it's NOT art...
