nice music!!

no thumb down because I usually like and respect FR prods, but this one is one of the worst FR demos ever. Boring Boring Boring.
Looks like a dozen of previous hjb demos.

O gIZmo/fiver2 where art thou? :)
added on the 2004-04-16 14:48:07 by keops keops
It seemed to lack progression and looked badly linked together. The music was also very bland, but I can't help but admire Visualices dedication and skill, and the FR engine, of course. Always deserving of a vote!

sllick and well made as always, nice soundtrack and i liked some of the visuals, but personally I don't much like visualice's style. As said, looks like many hjb prods before. More gIZmo / fiver2 and less visualice please.
same old same old :)

i liked the demo because i like the visualize style. but please no more vic tunes in the upcoming prods. vic makes really great tunes no doubt but i want some change in style by any means =)

the visual quality is fucking good, the fx are great (basically the code is fucking good :) ). But the scenes miss something wich would have made out a great demo of this one.

yeah, i found it seriously boring too. Although there were some nice scenes there.
added on the 2004-04-16 16:36:27 by psonice psonice
Feels somehow unfinished? Some very nice scenes but others seem downright ugly, which isn't something I'd expect from Visualice. Maybe it's my bad taste.

Anyway, it had me entertained. And never use anyone but Vic, he somehow manages to make the most banal kiksu style sound good. :)

Even with all respect I have for visualices artistical skills (lots), his demos regularly make me fall asleep. Not my taste. No thumb down as it's technically nice.
added on the 2004-04-16 17:17:29 by scamp scamp
People think that because it's farb. they must absolutely thumb it up.
For me there is some serious lack of inspiration, the same old ...jobb style over and over again. Even trax sux.
So I will be the first man who thumb it down. (yeah f... the world).
sucks added on the 2004-04-16 17:26:32 by daddyvx daddyvx
i would not say it's the typical visu style...
it simply isn't.. his style in this has _definitely_ changed... it's more futuristic, more like "all is full of art".. someone would say its the visualice of the 21st century..
like one commented on "all is..." : "when i saw this at the party i though "this will be like haujobb prods in 2 years"..."
its like an surprising symbiosis between early fr and visu stylee..
i dont know how too express what i thougt while watching this demo.. (i'm feeling a bit like optimus at the moment ;)
too make it short: i love to see imho this refreshing demo, with this clear growing demotune
what the heck, i would better thumb up in silence instead of writing 5k essays and making myself optimus-like..
rulez added on the 2004-04-16 17:30:03 by v3nom v3nom
and if they continue releasing excellent work, i will continue thumbing it up..
(but not fr-40)
added on the 2004-04-16 17:32:18 by v3nom v3nom
Not anything truely ass kicking this time, but still solid Fr-work as allways. Mainly I'm thumbing this up because overall quality of the BP demo-compo was... err, interesting

IMO these scenes should have been kept deleted... two or three nice scene but incoherent as a whole. compared with usual fr/visualize qualities this would be even thumb down but compared to others still okayish.

No doubt that Visualize add something to demos which make them goodlooking.

But i feel that the demo itself is boring although the figures in the screenshot add something to the demo...but to bad they don`t move. It feels static and same as many other demos where "the camera" only moves.

sorry, but i liked the stuff more that master visualice did for haujobb. seems he lost his magic sense for colorschemes when he changed groups.

thumb down for visualice. always the same old utterly boring crap, nothing new at all (except that now he uses Farbrausch engine)

haujobb used to get good rankings at compos with those repetitive craps, however this 9th place and the winning demo seem to prove one thing: people got pissed off with visualice's redundant stuff.

One of the BP demos which I keep watching over and over again, it's very nice and the music rocks. It's also very interesting to read the remarks here, this seems to be one of those "you either hate it or love it" demos...

no thumb down for code and effort...
Hm. Nothing really special.

I don't feel a thing. Didn't make me want to press ESC, like many productions do, which is a good thing. I just kept on waiting for something cool to come.

Nothing ever did.
added on the 2004-04-18 15:12:38 by Preacher Preacher
Nice scenes and beautiful graphics. Surely this has something most demos lack: direction. But the sad fact is that the music is so bland, it almost feels like watching the demo with no sound at all. And that's what killed it imho. Give this demo inspired music and it would be memorable. Compare this to the equivalent liquid wen to see what I mean.

Caused a mixed feelings inside. This is the sencond demo (intro) what tells me that the farbrausch is dead but haujobb rise up from their dig. The demo itself a typical haujobb style. Interest but the music is boring a little . That is not the best thing visualice joined fr beause he infected the original style.
rulez added on the 2004-04-22 11:50:24 by AbcuG! AbcuG!
thumb up: overall quality of this demo which is awesome. I mean, technically, graphically, and musically, the work is really good. imho, it's the best bp demo.
Thumb down: i love visualice design, but i begin to be a bit bored. It needs some new fresh ideas.
added on the 2004-04-23 23:59:52 by mRyOuNg mRyOuNg
typical haujobb style blaa blaa farbrausch is ruined blaa blaa. people, go and get new brains.

on the demo itself. there's definitely great stuff in it, but for me this a step back from faded memories, especially in what comes to direction. the style is not incoherent but red line connecting all the dots is somehow missing. then again there's couple of great scenes alone in this demo that wipes most of the other other bp releases under the table.

This demo stars out a bit slowly, but it gets better towards the end. The scenes don't fit together perfectly, but the name suggests they shouldn't anyhow. It's all been seen before, but it's still good stuff. This demo isn't perfect, but is still nice.

Deleted Scenes equals memories. you see, I divide memories into sequences. Private stuff folks.
The woman evolves during her path, being statue-like, as we all are. Motion? hell no.

I think we all can pretty safe to say you "non-likers" didn't even watch it really watching.

Arty crap? well, that's your mind.
added on the 2004-05-10 18:18:33 by Visualice Visualice
I'm sorry, i find it awful. The music is too repetitive and looses the connection to the visuals, the visuals themselves are tasteless. And i've been watching it ah home for a few times. Yes, i acknowledge the effort behind this, et cetera, but it certainly doesn't make me like it.

And then you just go ahead and offend everyone who doesn't happen to like it. You put your words in other peoples' mouth. Your post is the only mention of "arty crap" here, so i conclude it's your opinion more than ours.

Let me tell you from my experience. Do you want to listen to the sad story of my painful life? Hell, i bet you don't! So is with your life story to most people. You put months or years of your thoughts in a demo, and expect people to decypher them in 10 minutes? Or perhaps in 30, watching it for many times? No, it's not realistic. :/ Either you do art for wide public - and expect everyone to like it - or for yourself - but then accept the reaction as it is - and i'd say it's overally positive, so calm down.

With such stuff, which doesn't follow the common canones of beuaty, it either "hits" someone's state of mind, or it doesn't.

Nope... this is the first "Farbrausch" demo I've definately had to say doesn't deserve the "Farbrausch" name. If they can cram fr.08 into 64kb, and have it make sense, why isn't this a 32k demo? 8 MB?! What happened to Farbrausch? Everything about this demo is completely abstract... no grounds in reality... if I wanted to see this kind of stuff, I'd fire up Milkdrop in Winamp.

I think we all can pretty safe to say you "non-likers" didn't even watch it really watching.

Insulting the audience isn't a very mature way of tackling criticism. Hard as it may be to accept, It is actually possible that someone might not like your work even though they have experienced it as it was intended and understood it :)
