congratulations replay! you just won the ugliet-glowfilter-ever competition. read up at nvidia about perfect texel->pixel mapping and consider spending a couple more passes / texture-units for getting a blurred look too. automatic mipmap-generation or multisampling helps too.

good idea (deepness in the sky is one of my favourite demos), imo fails for music sync

this is infact a nice production and maybe you should check your hardware - i've been running this on a dull old P3/600 (w/ gf4ti4200, w2k) and a 1.5ghz centrino notebook (w/ gf5go5200, wxp) and it just syncs perfectly. yes, the idea aint new, but its done in just about 50k. yes ... in fact IT RULEZ!!!

The demo it apparently is meant to look a like. Hits this opne with so many length were talking light years. This has NOTHING, that ADITS didnt have 100 times better. But on its on, this is ok.

I didn't like 'A Deepness in the Sky' because it gave me a headache, but after watching a dozen imitations I'm beginning to like it better. This one gets better as it goes along- once the pill/box thingies start forming large patterns, and reaches its best point just before the end when there is FINALLY some sort of melody. Piggy for the end.

I suggest anyone from the old Razor squad to perform some quality check on what the demo section is going to release under their label.

terrible blur effect, poor objects/movement, bad music. the syncs were accurate, at least, well done for that i guess.
the only real positive i gained from this from squinting and trying to pretend i was watching ADITS. unfortunately, i wasnt.

i didn't like deepness in the sky but it was at least fun to watch, this on the other hand was boring and very unimpressive. The music was also horrible.

I don't even like a deepness in the sky that much, and this is just an ugly ripoff.

I like this mood and synchronization. But intro like this can be coded in 1996 or so (like Orange's "Korso2").
