Best in compo and my favourite ASD demo so far (with Satori or not). I can see how it's not exactly built to be a crowdpleaser, but 7th place wtf?
That ant was really disturbing. Great!
Ha, the ant.
The story of this ant was that it was supposed to come on the screen only once (at the beginning). But it seems that the spline of its movement loops around once more. The second time you see it it's not even moving correctly (it does a weird spasmodic dance); this was not intentional, but I let it stay because it kind of matches the whole idea of "decent" into the madness/darkness/sorrow I wanted to convey, at least until the mid point.
It's also a nod to our first big demo on revision/breakpoint - metamorphosis.
Music choice was interesting - as it was made by our graphician iM. I'll ask him to do some sort of write-up of using his very "analogue" and hacky equipment.

A stunning piece of work. Every viewing uncovers new layers. It truly deserved more appreciation. I got deeper chills from this than even リング (Ringu). And those ants — I fall for it every single time!
