My personal favorite of the compo. This is Amiga.
I found it more interesting than the Lemon. demo.
Nice overall, with great effects and a great second tune, but the crackles in the first tune put me off a bit.

Immensely cool effects, compositionally beautiful, and very original in feel and execution. The layered/transparency stuff rules! Should have placed way higher imo.

The major effects and heavy lifting in this production were the hard work of Jobbo! All I did in terms of coding was add few transition effects to fill the gaps and help glue it together.
I've been out of scene view for quite a while now, with several stalled restarts of projects behind me, so to help make something that has been released at a party has been quite a big deal for my motivation. Thanks to Jobbo and Magnar for giving me that kick up the ass I needed :-)

it runs fine on an A600 if it's equipped with Kickstart 1.3 though. no idea what the version of Kickstart has to do with it, but it works for me (plain A600 with 2 MB chipmem and KS 1.3). the demo crashes on all my other A600s (equipped with KS 2.x).

Yeah, seems to require Kick 1.3 but works great on my A1200 with Relokick, so easy to solve. Mighty fine show and should probably have placed higher. Some tech here I can't even pretend to begin to understand but it looks wild! Also, the end part version of the tune is sweeeeet.

Another technical power house to leave the rest of us coders scratching our heads and hoping for another write-up. The addition of some super stylish paranoid glue helps pull it all together. Great music too.
I get the same crash as hfr on my A600, but not to worry, I watched the whole thing in the hall at Revision and loved it. A little underrated in the compo results!
This technical marvel deserved a better position in my opinion. One of my favourites of the compo.
Excellent stuff here with cool ideas. It deserved a better ranking!
