The trick of having some graphics in a JS intro by using emoji was clever when someone first did it (with Wingdings), but a bit played-out at this point. This one doesn't have much else going for it - there is some animation, but it is so choppy that I first thought my browser wasn't parsing things correctly. I'm not sure what the zooming is supposed to convey.

The zoom 24 is too much, but there is something. It's not too bad for 127 bytes.

Too bad the "mate " text is wasted as it's hidden unless the user has different default text color.

Thanks for the feedback! I agree with your statement about emojis and will most likely avoid using them as the main graphic element in future prods. The spinning animation is not smooth because it consists of only three frames. Changing zoom levels along with different Earth and Moon alignments was an attempt to create a jump-cut cinematographic effect, which I chose over other possible transitions (such as sliding or zooming).

The only purpose of the "mate " text is to offset the Moon at different zoom levels. I tried various zoom/animation combinations and, in the end, just picked a symbolic 24 for the zoom and 365 for the frame rate. Thank you for the encouraging thumbs-up!
