mpeg2 codec is a bad idea :-( (these type of codecs are allways not free)

It is mpeg2 because all these free-codecs are usually miserably failing in compatibility issues. There are some free mpeg2 codecs awailable anyway and most of us have dvd-players which can play separate mpeg2 files.
